    The Happiness Advantage Retreat is a 4-day, 3-night immersive experience designed to help you rewire your mind for joy, resilience, and success. Through transformative workshops, wellness practices, and community connection, you’ll leave empowered to live a happier, more fulfilling life.
  • 2. When and where is the retreat?
    Dates: April 24th–27th, 2025 Location: Chapel Creek Haven, Garden Valley, ID This serene mountain getaway offers panoramic views, walking trails, a hot tub, a swimming pond, and much more.
  • 3. What are the accommodation options?
    We offer a range of accommodations to suit different preferences and budgets: Private Queen Rooms Private Double Bed Rooms Shared Double Rooms Shared Bunk Rooms RV or Tent Camping Check our pricing page for detailed options and availability.
  • 4. Are meals included?
    Yes, all meals are included from Thursday evening dinner through Sunday breakfast. Meals are locally sourced, nourishing, and prepared with love. We also provide snacks and beverages throughout the day.
  • 5. Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
    Absolutely! We can accommodate most dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other specific requirements. Please let us know during registration.
  • 6. What can I expect from the workshops?
    Our workshops are designed to help you identify limiting beliefs, cultivate a positive mindset, and integrate tools for lasting happiness. Topics include: Rewiring Your Mind for Joy The Science of Happiness Tools for Positivity and Resilience Workshops include interactive exercises, guided meditations, and practical takeaways.

  • 8. Can I Bring a Friend to The Happiness Retreat?
    Bringing a friend to the retreat can enhance your experience by sharing this transformational journey with someone close to you. Below are answers to common questions about bringing a friend. 1. Can I bring a friend to the retreat? Absolutely! We encourage participants to invite friends, partners, or family members to share in this incredible experience. There are accommodation options specifically designed for sharing, such as private queen rooms or double-bed rooms. 2. Is there a discount if I bring a friend? Yes! Friends sharing the same room or bed can split the cost of accommodations by adding $395 to the base price for the second person. This is a great way to save while enjoying the retreat together. 3. How do we register as a pair? During registration, select an accommodation option that allows for sharing (e.g., Queen Room or Double Bed Room). Choose the “Add a Second Person” option and enter your friend’s details (name, email, dietary preferences). The total cost, including the add-on price, will be reflected at checkout. 4. Can my friend and I choose separate payment plans? Unfortunately, payment plans are tied to the primary booking. If you select a payment plan, the full amount (including the additional $395 for the second person) will be divided into the scheduled payments. You and your friend will need to coordinate payment between yourselves. 5. What if my friend can’t make it after registering? If your friend cannot attend, you have a few options: Replace them with another person (up to 7 days before the retreat). Opt to attend the retreat alone and retain the room for private use. Refunds for the second person follow the general cancellation policy: Full refund (minus a $50 fee) if canceled 30+ days before the event. 50% refund if canceled 15–29 days before the event. Non-refundable if canceled within 14 days of the retreat. 6. Are there specific activities designed for friends or pairs? While all activities are open to everyone, the retreat provides a supportive environment perfect for friends to connect. Here’s how you can enjoy the retreat together: Participate in partner yoga or group exercises. Share reflections during journaling or workshops. Experience the drumming circle and sound baths side by side. 7. Can my friend and I choose different accommodations? Each ticket is tied to a specific room or accommodation type. If you and your friend prefer separate sleeping arrangements, you will need to register individually for your chosen accommodations. 8. Are shared rooms limited to friends? No! Shared accommodations like bunk rooms or double-bed rooms are open to all participants. If you’re bringing a friend, you’ll have the option to ensure you’re paired together in shared spaces. 9. What happens if I want to bring more than one friend? Each attendee is allowed to bring one friend to share their accommodations. If you and your friend prefer separate rooms, you will need to register individually under separate accommodations.   • 9. How do I register?

  • 10. How does the Payment Plan work?
    1. How does the payment plan work? Our payment plan makes it easy to attend the retreat by spreading the cost over multiple installments. Here’s how it works: A 50% deposit is required upfront to secure your spot. The remaining balance is split into three equal monthly installments. Payments include a $25 administrative fee per installment to cover processing costs. 2. What are the payment plan dates? Deposit: Due at registration. Final Installment: April 15, 2025 All payments must be completed by April 15, 2025, to participate in the retreat. 3. How do I sign up for the payment plan? During checkout, select the payment plan option. Enter your payment details, and the deposit will be processed immediately. Someone will contact you to arrange the additional installments via paypal. 4. What happens if I miss a payment? If a payment is missed, you will receive an email notification. A 7-day grace period is provided to make the payment. If the payment is not made within the grace period, a $25 late fee will apply. Failure to make payments on time may result in forfeiture of your spot and deposit. 5. Are the payment plan fees refundable? The $25 administrative fees per installment are non-refundable. The deposit is refundable according to the cancellation policy: Full refund (minus a $50 fee) if canceled 30+ days before the event. 50% refund if canceled 15–29 days before the event. Non-refundable if canceled within 14 days of the retreat. 6. Can I pay off the balance early? Yes! If you wish to pay off the balance before the final due date, contact us at info@chakraguru.org to make arrangements.
  • 11. What is the cancellation policy?
    Cancellations are subject to the following terms: 30+ Days Before the Retreat (by March 24, 2025): Full refund, minus a $50 administrative fee. 15–29 Days Before the Retreat (March 25–April 8, 2025): 50% refund of the total payment made. 14 Days or Less Before the Retreat (April 9, 2025, or later): Non-refundable. 2. What if I need to cancel due to illness or emergency? If you are unable to attend due to illness, medical emergency, or other extenuating circumstances, we will review your situation on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the circumstances, you may: Receive a credit toward a future retreat. Transfer your ticket to another person (see below). 3. Can I transfer my ticket to someone else? Yes! Tickets are transferable to another person up to 7 days before the retreat (by April 17, 2025). To transfer your ticket, email us at info@chakraguru.org with the new attendee's name, email, and any special requirements. Transfers cannot be made less than 7 days before the retreat. 4. Are deposits refundable? Deposits are refundable based on the cancellation timeline: 30+ days before the retreat: Refundable, minus a $50 administrative fee. Within 30 days of the retreat: Non-refundable. 5. Are administrative fees refundable? Administrative fees, including the $25 installment fees for payment plans, are non-refundable. 6. What happens if the retreat is canceled by the organizers? In the unlikely event that the retreat is canceled by us, you will receive: A 100% refund of all payments made, including the deposit. Alternatively, you may choose to apply the full amount toward a future retreat. 7. How do I request a cancellation or refund?   • Release of Liability & Assumptiom of Risk Agreement
    RETREAT RELEASE OF LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT To: All Participants, Practitioners and Staff Retreat Name: The Happiness Advantage Retreat Retreat Dates: April 24-27th, 2025 Retreat Location: Garden Valley, Idaho and all excursions on and off property 1. Assumption of Risk I, understand that my participation in The Happiness Advantage Retreat involves activities such as meditation, movement, breathwork, sound healing, nature immersion, and other wellness practices. I acknowledge that these activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to physical injury, emotional discomfort, or unforeseen accidents. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, that may arise as a result of my participation. 2. Health & Medical Responsibility I affirm that I am in good physical, mental, and emotional health to participate in the retreat. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to consult with a healthcare provider if I have any medical conditions that may be affected by participation. I will inform the retreat organizers of any medical concerns or allergies before the retreat. I understand that The Happiness Advantage Retreat and its facilitators are not medical professionals and that any healing practices offered are for informational and spiritual purposes only and do not replace medical or psychological treatment. 3. Release & Waiver of Liability I release [Your Name/Business Name], its retreat organizers, facilitators, employees, and volunteers from any liability, claims, demands, or actions arising from any injuries, damages, or losses I may experience during or after the retreat. I agree not to hold the retreat organizers responsible for any accidents, personal property loss, or force majeure events (such as extreme weather, natural disasters, or emergencies) that may occur during my participation. 4. COVID-19 & Communicable Diseases I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in this retreat and assume all risks related to potential exposure to communicable diseases. I release the retreat organizers from any claims related to illness contracted during the retreat. 5. Personal Responsibility & Conduct I understand that I am responsible for my own well-being and agree to act respectfully towards others. If I engage in behavior deemed inappropriate, I acknowledge that the retreat organizers have the right to ask me to leave without a refund. 6. Photo & Media Release I give permission for photos/videos taken during the retreat to be used for promotional purposes. 7. Agreement & Signature By signing below, I confirm that I have read and fully understand this Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk Agreement. I voluntarily agree to its terms and acknowledge that I am giving up certain legal rights.
